Your dental visit explained
When you arrive at Birmingham Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, you will be greeted by our friendly front desk staff. After filling out any paperwork, you will be guided to the exam room.
There, you will have a complete cleaning from one of our skilled dental hygienists that will involve removing tartar and plaque, polishing and flossing your teeth. Dental X-rays may also be taken to get a clear vision of your mouth and any underlying issues.
Next, Dr. Milan will examine your mouth – including gums, teeth and tissues to check for any signs of issues like cavities or gum disease. You will also be screened for oral cancer as part of our routine exam.
Finally, Dr. Milan will discuss any recommended treatments or follow up plans with you. If further procedures are recommended, you may schedule them at this time.
As always, there will be plenty of time to ask questions and inquire about other treatments like cosmetic, restorative and preventative dental procedures. Our staff is here to help and educate patients – while assisting them in achieving optimum oral health.
