With most dental insurance, two dental visits are covered annually. Therefore, if you haven’t scheduled your second (or even first!) dental exam for the year, you should consider doing so now. If not, you could be tossing away dental coverage that can be used to pay for your appointment. Likewise, if you have an FSA or HSA that have funds available, your dental appointment co-pay could be deducted from the accounts.
More importantly, though, you run the risk of putting the health of your teeth, gums and mouth in jeopardy if you miss your dental exam. So, there’s truly no sense in not scheduling!
