Keeping patients and staff safe
During this unprecedented time, the world is evolving to a new normal and new safety standards. And Birmingham Center for Cosmetic Dentistry is no different.
In addition to proper personal protection equipment, we are pleased to have also installed the Fogger, a disinfecting machine that uses antimicrobial hypochlorous acid to kill bacteria, viruses and germs. Further, we have introduced the Vector Vortex, which is a state-of-the-art device that uses high-volume extra oral suction to eliminate aerosols in the air during patient treatments.
Prior to your appointment, we will ask you pertinent health questions. Upon arrival, your temperature will be taken with a touchless thermometer. We ask that you wear a mask when you come in and use our hand sanitizer. Likewise, our staff will be wearing masks at all times.
Our office has been cleared of magazines and other unnecessary objects and plastic barriers have been installed at our front desk. Further, we will manage our appointment times to adhere to social distancing guidelines and limit the number of patients in the office. We ask that you come to your appointment alone. Onsite laundry allows for staff to remove their uniform to be washed at the end of each day.
And, of course, we are following and exceeding all CDC guidelines when it comes to cleaning and sanitizing the office and exam rooms and sterilizing equipment.
